Offering a more relaxed, more personal way to stay. Set on a quiet tree-lined avenue just a short walk from the pier, promenade, shops, restaurants, and the Great Orme Tramway, it combines an excellent central location with the calm and comfort guests value most.
We have created a space that feels warm, refined, and easy to settle into. With ten individually appointed rooms, thoughtful modern comforts, and a level of care that guests return for again and again, The Rosedene is designed for people who want more than somewhere to sleep — they want to feel properly looked after.
Meet Mark & Andrea

We’re Mark and Andrea, your hosts at The Rosedene in Llandudno. The guest house is our full-time job and the one we love most – over the last few years we’ve poured a lot of care into creating a calm, quietly premium place to stay, where you can properly switch off and feel looked after. We know how precious your time away is, so we try to make arriving here feel like a deep breath out after a long week.
We both came to Llandudno as children and fell in love with it back then, so it feels genuinely special to call it home now – and, honestly, we can’t imagine ever leaving. Sharing the town with our guests, and seeing it afresh through their eyes, is a big part of what we enjoy about hosting; it’s a lovely feeling when someone tells us they’ve fallen for Llandudno in the same way we did.
Before The Rosedene, Mark built his own computer consultancy from the age of 19, and Andrea worked as a graphic designer. That mix of problem-solving and design now goes straight into how we look after the house and our guests: clear, friendly messages before you arrive, and rooms that feel fresh, comfortable and thoughtfully put together, with plenty of little touches that make it feel like “your” place while you’re here.
We’re friendly and down-to-earth – close by if you’d like local tips, restaurant suggestions or a hand planning a day out, and happily in the background when you just want peace and quiet. You’ll often find Oscar, our Yorkshire terrier, ready to say hello in the hallway – though only if you actually want to meet him – and we’re always just a message away if you need anything during your stay.
The Great Orme and the seafront are right on our doorstep – the famous goats, the historic tram, the cable cars, the pier and the promenade – and we’re always glad to point you towards our favourite walks, cafés and viewpoints so you can make the most of it all. More than anything, we hope you leave feeling rested, cared for and a little bit in love with Llandudno too.

Everything at The Rosedene is designed to help guests settle in quickly and relax properly. Rooms are en-suite and include free Wi‑Fi, flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, and thoughtful extras that make the stay feel smooth from the moment you arrive.

We are situated close to the centre of town, in a setting that feels quiet and peaceful despite being so close to Llandudno’s seafront and attractions.
The Rosedene’s location is one of its biggest strengths. It sits within easy walking distance of the pier, promenade, town centre, shops, cafes, restaurants, and two beaches, while also being well placed for the railway station and road links for exploring further afield.
Guests can enjoy the best of both worlds: a convenient base in Llandudno itself and straightforward access to some of North Wales’ best day trips, from Conwy Castle and the Great Orme to Eryri, Anglesey, and Portmeirion.
It is this mix of convenience and calm that makes The Rosedene such a strong base for both short breaks and longer stays.
