Explore North Wales A Perfect Base for Exploring North Wales

We recently spent a wonderful week at The Rosedene, and it was the ideal base for our adventures in North Wales. Our room was immaculately clean and comfortable, and Andrea and Mark were exceptional hosts, ensuring that our stay was relaxing and stress-free. The location is perfect – quiet and peaceful, yet within easy walking distance of Llandudno’s town centre and all its amenities. We took advantage of the excellent public transport links to explore the surrounding area, including a bus trip to Snowdon, where we enjoyed a breathtaking hike to the summit. We also spent a day driving around the beautiful island of Anglesey, taking in the stunning coastal views and visiting some of the island’s historic sites. Other highlights of our trip included visits to Conwy Castle, the Great Orme, and the picturesque town of Betws-y-Coed. Throughout our stay, Andrea and Mark were always on hand to offer advice and recommendations, and their warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. We would highly recommend The Rosedene to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base for exploring North Wales – we can’t wait to return!”

Amazing guest house My and my partner decided to visit the Rosedene for a weekend for her birthday. What a beautiful place and so welcoming. Mark and Andrea, the hosts were absolutely fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was a double room and all I can say is WOW. Massive TV and as much tea and coffee as you can drink, they even provided snacks. I have also never stayed in a guest house so clean and well presented. We will definitely be booking a week’s stay in the summer of 25. Thanks Mark and Andrea for a memorable weekend birthday brek.

A Perfect Stay At The Rosedene Our recent stay at The Rosedene was the ideal introduction to Llandudno.

From the warm welcome by Andrea and Mark to the comfortable, well-equipped room, every detail was perfect.

The guest house’s central yet quiet location made it easy to explore Llandudno on foot, from strolling along the promenade to visiting the beautiful Botanic Garden and enjoying the breathtaking views from the Great Orme.

A scenic drive to Conwy added to the experience, where we explored the medieval castle and sampled local cuisine.

We highly recommend The Rosedene for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway in North Wales, and we look forward to returning to uncover more of the area’s hidden treasures.

Rosedene Really great place to stay. Brilliant location and great hosts. Very friendly. Drinks are available And great to see a lovely old building being used to host visitors to a lovely seaside town. I would heavily recommend this to anyone visiting the area and will definitely stay again

Fabulous stay in Llandudno We have stayed at the Rosedene a few times in 2024 and have never been disappointed, The Hosts, Mark & Andrea take great pride in making your stay as pleasurable as possible, the rooms are bright, decorated to a high standard and are exceptionally clean . Rosedene is in a quiet location but is in walking distant of shops and a variety of restaurants. I have no hesitation in recommending Rosedene , you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent stay Second time staying here, nothing too much trouble for hosts, rooms great,and location great, would highly recommend! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the local vicinity! Have visited twice already and if visiting the area again, i’ll be booking here.

We’re just home from an absolutely fantastic weekend in llandudno. Stayed at the Rosedene hotel and was blown away by the place. Andrea and Mark are the loveliest people and made sure our stay was a massive part of our trip. The hotel was a standard beyond our expectations. Flawlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming. Everything was organised and laid out to meet our needs. Nothing was a bother to our exceptional hosts. Will, without a doubt be back.. Fantastic Scooter rally 2025 2nd time staying at rosedene mark and Andrea are the best hosts they done everything they could to make our stay fantastic. Scooter Rally Great wee spot, Andrea and Mark couldn’t do enough for you. Hotel is what it is home from home, spotless clean and ticks the boxes. Have stayed in 5☆ hotels with less attention given to the customer. If we are going back next year, I’ll be back 100% cheers Stephen A.

Six Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brought a party of 20 persons to the Rosedene for the second time.Mark & Andrea never fail. Home from home and treated with a warm welcome. The Guest house its self is better than a hotel. Perfection in every way. Two of the friendliest hosts with attention to detail from Breakfast to Late bar facility. Booked already for October 2025

Unexpected little gem❤️ Fabulous little gem that packs a punch. Didn’t really expect much, but the room was beautifully decorated and has everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay. No specific parking, but not too much of a problem, as the surrounding streets are free to park. Andrea and Paul, the hosts, are really friendly and more than happy to do anything they can to elevate your stay. Lovely people. We’ll definitely stay again.

Fun weekend in Llandudno Everything was as expected. Andrea was lovely and hospitable. The rooms had what we needed, and were clean. When I made a couple of random requests, Andrea went above and beyond to accommodate them. It was a quick walk to the pier. We would happily stay there again.
