Common questions about Front-Facing Deluxe King

How many people does Room 3 sleep?

Room 3 sleeps up to 2 guests, in a King configuration. You do not have to fill it - it is regularly booked by a single guest, and there is a separate single-occupancy rate so you are not paying for beds you are not using.

Can I book Room 3 for one person?

Yes. Any room at The Rosedene can be booked for one guest, including the doubles, kings and family rooms. Single occupancy has its own rate rather than the full two-person price, so it is worth booking direct and asking. It is a common arrangement here with contractors and people working away.

Which floor is Room 3 on?

Room 3 is on the first floor. The Rosedene is a Victorian house and there is no lift, so please allow for stairs.

What is the view from Room 3?

It looks out over Arvon Avenue at the front of the house. The Rosedene sits two streets back from the promenade, so this is a quiet residential outlook rather than a sea view.

Is breakfast included?

No - The Rosedene is room-only. We call it Bed & Breathe. Every room has a tea and coffee tray with breakfast bars and biscuits, and there are cafes and breakfast spots a few minutes walk away in the town.

Is there parking at The Rosedene?

There is no private car park. Parking is free on-street on Arvon Avenue and the surrounding roads, with no permit needed, on a first come first served basis. It is usually straightforward but it cannot be guaranteed or reserved.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Book direct and you can check in from 2pm and check out by 11am. Bookings made through a third-party site are 3pm and 10am. Entry is keyless, so a late arrival is no problem - you do not need anyone to be on the desk.
