Live timetables & mixed-mode routes

Google Maps' transit mode pulls live UK timetables for buses and trains plus walking links — sometimes a bus straight there, sometimes train + a short walk. It picks the best option for the time of day.

On foot

The slow way.

When it's close enough to walk

Best for venues in the town or along the prom. Google Maps' walking mode uses public footpaths and pedestrianised streets, not just roads — so it's usually a shorter and more pleasant route than driving the same distance.

Wales' own public-transport planner

The official Welsh-government planner for buses and trains across Wales — often a better answer than Google Maps for rural Conwy and Gwynedd routes, and the place to check on Sherpa'r Wyddfa connections from Llandudno.
