Seafood made simple Discover how easy and delicious cooking seafood can be with our Seafood Made Simple course. Learn how to prepare and cook a variety of fresh fish and shellfish with confidence, from simple everyday dishes to impressive plates for entertaining. You’ll pick up essential skills for choosing, preparing and cooking seafood, along with tips for getting the perfect texture and making the most of fresh flavours. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to enjoy more seafood at home. Simple dishes: Sea bass au pisto, scampi Provençal Your day begins at 9.45am in the Furnace Café, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and have the chance to meet your fellow delegates and your chef. Your chef will introduce you to the class menu and talk you through how the day will run before you’re shown to your own workspace in our fully equipped Cookery School kitchen. With step-by-step tuition throughout, your chef will be on hand to guide and assist you, making the experience fun, relaxed and easy to follow - whether you’re a confident cook or a complete beginner. All ingredients, aprons and drinks are provided throughout the class, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a container for taking your delicious creations home. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with new cooking skills, recipe notes and the dishes you’ve prepared yourself to enjoy at home. This is a half-day course, running from 9.45am until 1.00pm. £80pp Unfortunately we are unable to tailor recipes in this course with substitutions for dietary requirements or allergies as it can significantly change the composition and outcome of the dishes.
