Two easy rides from Prince Edward Square: a circular tour around the Great Orme, and a new hop-on, hop-off town tour for 2026. All the scenery, none of the climb.
If the legs fancy a rest but you still want to see the best of Llandudno, hop aboard the land train. Both tours leave from Prince Edward Square, a few minutes' stroll from our front door, and there is honestly no gentler way to take in the town.
The Great Orme Tour is the headline ride. It is a continuous circular tour of the headland along Marine Drive, hugging the cliffs with the sea far below and the limestone rising up beside you. You stay aboard for the full loop, so it is the whole Orme without a single step of climbing. Adult tickets are £12 in the spring season and £13 from July, children aged 4 to 15 are £8, and a family ticket is £35.
New for summer 2026 is the Llandudno Town Tour, and this one is hop-on, hop-off. It links the promenade with the town's highlights, so you can jump off for a mooch, a coffee or a paddle and pick up a later train. Adults are £8, children £5 and a family ticket £22 — an easy way to give little legs a break in the middle of a day out.
The Great Orme Tour runs across most of the year; the town tour starts in July. Those are 2026 season fares, so it is worth a quick look at the operator's website before you set off. Give us a wave as you pass — we might well be on the doorstep.
